A Baby was born quietly, in the margins of the world far from palaces, far from power.

Yet word of the birth travelled faster than footsteps. A king heard it, and fear took root in his heart. Not fear of a child, but fear of losing control.

He sent Wise Men into Bethlehem with careful words and hidden intent: Go and search for the child. When you find Him, report back to me

Serves fear and earthly power, resisting God’s kingdom even when it stands before him.

  • Knows the other Agents

  • Wins if they find Mary & Joseph

2. Wise Men

Win Conditions

Agents of Herod Win If Mary & Joseph is found within 3 rounds. Else the people of Bethlehem win

Only after Herod’s death did the angel return to Joseph with new words: Go back. Those who sought the child’s life are dead.

"In this world, we face many battles, both seen and unseen. Like King Herod, we may encounter fear, evil, and the temptation to control or destroy what we cannot understand. But the story of Jesus, born in Bethlehem, teaches us that God’s plan is greater than any fear or earthly power. Even when it feels like darkness wins, God is at work in ways we may not see. His plan for redemption cannot be stopped.

The birth of Jesus was not just a story of a baby in a manger, but the beginning of God’s greatest gift to humanity: salvation through Christ. Jesus came into the world to bring light into the darkness, to show us the way to eternal life. Through His life, death, and resurrection, He offers forgiveness for our sins and the hope of eternal life with Him.

No matter the struggles we face, we can have hope because of Jesus. His victory over sin and death assures us that God’s Kingdom will one day reign, and every wrong will be made right.

In every season of life whether in moments of struggle or victory, remember That God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). This is the hope we carry, no matter what challenges we face. And this hope is something that can never be taken away."
